Tomorrow’s foraging
I spied with my lil eye beautiful Bee Balm ( Wild Bergamot) yesterday, & today, I’ve also been watching several huge mullein plants flower, I’m getting more mullein to dry now that I’ve got the first of it out of the way &: waiting to be processed & finished up,
The flowers I’ll add with garlic & a really good oil, for ear aches it works great especially for babies & kids.
I’ve still got at least a month or two of foraging, harvesting & drying then I’ll really start the tinctures & actual medicine making end of sept into Oct. As much as I love summer , I do love fall as well.
& I’ve learned to love & honor what Oct is really about. Life sure as taught me about “ending of a season” & honoring moving into the next, Oct is full of deaths for me , my son & both parents all died in Oct. ( Actually within a week in Oct)

I’ve struggled with Oct for many yrs. & I finally am looking forward to honoring it for what it is,
Time for me to enter the void & to go deep within & honor my own darkness, shadow work & rest
until the rebirth of the new yr. ☺️
