Wanted : Goldenrod
Has anyone seen this plant? 🤣
I think I jumped the gun just a bit 🤣 this cool weather had me all ready for fall & summer isn’t exactly over so…I went out yesterday looking for “GoldenRod” & found so much more i love when that happens, & I’m also paying the price a lil known fact is “ragweed” doesn’t bloom such a showy yellow flower, but instead hides behind GoldenRod, let’s goldenrod supply the pollinators & let’s goldenrod take the blame for all your seasonal allergies ….
It’s actually the sneaky lil Sneezy ragweed 😵💫 which I waded thru oceans of yesterday looking for goldenrod, so this morning I’m paying that 🤧 sneezy 🤧price for yesterday’s actions🤣
But it’s all good, I’m going to snag her ass up & tincture her ass & she won’t get me next yr 🤣 yes you can take ragweed tincture as a cure for seasonal allergies, it’s building immunity from it in micro dosing ☺️
& she thinks she’s tricked me out in my garden 🤣 nope she’s there because I let her hide among the giant marigolds because she’s going to become my medicine for the next yr 🤣
Mother nature is so amazing ❤️
Just like me, she has powerful Magick coursing thru her veins if you know how to listen. She has the power to feed , to Heal, To hex/to hurt ,or to kill. It’s all with how you interact with her. ❤️
& Incase anyone is wondering, My state, the state of Missouri protects my foraging with actual laws ☺️
We have foraging laws & this yr I’m taking full advantage of them ☺️
Tidbit about roadside foraging .
( there’s laws to protect me doing that as well 😉)
It pays you well to be have PATIENCE! I’ve watched those ditches for a full yr before I ever harvested/ foraged anything. I’m watching for farmers run off, & nasty chemicals either sprayed by the st./county or farmer 🙄 even road salt effects the growth in ditches etc. But if you’ll watch the full season those issues are fairly easy to spot once you know what your watching for ☺️
Everything I forage is done so with patience, love & respect & is protected by law.
I never ever take more than a 1/3 & I like to leave offerings & blessings along the way.
