Welcome 2024 ….
I’m still in full blown hibernation mode, others are talking gardening seed starting etc 🥱 & I’m not ready to even think about all that work coming up for this yr!
Honestly I’m still playing catch up from October stuff I wanted to have done & I’m just not that motivated I’m so used to sleeping & resting through the winter. I’m really hoping as we move on into 2024 that being behind feeling fades…
So for the next few weeks I’m going into full research mode, for when I finally feel like getting moving again!
I have a few projects I hope to complete on top of the “gardens & herbal stuff” I figured the time I used last yr to build the garden fence, & filling all those beds & boxes etc can be used on building some new stuff , adding new things , & fingers crossed all I have to do at first is plant garden ! Instead of building garden spots 😂 I’d think half the work is done for me.
So today I spent the whole day watching some awesome beekeeper stories so I’ll have a better idea of what can & will probably go wrong😂
& Hopefully doing my research helps me set up once & sort of be good to go the first yr will be all about getting to know the bees ☺️ & really helping them survive & thrive.
I can’t wait for the fun photography that might led me into . I’m realizing I love that as much as any other area of my many projects , I love getting my hands dirty & planting garden, reaping the rewards no matter how great or small & photographing everything every step of the way. & This winter I discovered just how much I love the actual photographing of my herbal products etc , I kind of stumbled into it last winter during winter solstice when I decided to photograph things I had drying etc & that has really expanded & filled my artsy creative energy that a few yrs ago I threw into painting , I’m hoping the use of light & shadow & the artsy part of photography makes me an even better artist painting when I finally find time to pick up those brushes again. I’m learning to look at the world in very different ways, & I hope that shines through as I share my many adventures through my photography & words .
Our Reality absolutely is created by every choice we make, how we spend our time & energy absolutely creates our Reality! So why not see & live & make my life a work of art .
I choose to live in a world where nature absolutely rules! Walk barefoot through cool soft moss knowing faires dance & played with fireflies in this very moss the dusk before.
Magick is alive & well waiting just under foot, under the frozen crust , warm in the mother’s womb just waiting for the first hints of spring to pop out & bloom … & Bring to live all over again..
